Pedestrian Hospitalized with Serious Injuries in Santa Barbara
Another pedestrian has been injured in Santa Barbara. Earlier this week, a car struck a pedestrian on the corner of Salinas Street and Cacique Street. The incident happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, October 29th. The driver was headed north on Salinas Street, when she struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was immediately taken to the hospital and treated for serious injuries.
KEYT News Channel Three reports that the driver was taking her kids to school at the time of the incident. The 100 block of Salinas Street had to be blocked off for investigations. First responders had the road closed for about two hours. There is no word on the pedestrian’s current condition.
